The La Pavoni “Cilindro” coffee grinder is made by hand in Milano, Italy, which is why it has no equals in terms of product design. Its body is made from chromed aluminum and an anti-slip base is mounted to increase the stability of the grinder.
BEAN HOPPER IN TRITAN
The bean hopper of this grinder has a capacity of 600 g. The material it’s made of — TritanTM — guarantees a BPA-free and impact-resistant bean container.
FLAT BURRS IN HARDENED STEEL
Flat burrs result in particles whose size is more homogeneous compared to those produced by conical burrs. Hardened steel guarantees long lasting performance. The burr diameter is almost professional and amounts to 50 mm, while the burrs themselves are able to grind at a speed of 1.2–1.6 g/s.
STEPLESS MICROMETRIC GRINDING ADJUSTMENT
The grinder features a regulator knob with stepless micrometric grinding adjustment. Stepless grinders feature an infinite number of grind settings, allowing you to fine-tune the grind and therefore the extraction process. This makes them ideal for brewing espresso.
Using the LCD display, you can control the following features of the grinder: selecting a single or double dose, controlling time settings, choosing the continuous mode and using the lock function. In the continuous mode (which is actually manual dosing), you can continue to dispense coffee for up to 60 s.
