When her novelist boyfriend dies in a car accident, LucÃa (Paz Vega) retreats to a small Mediterranean island and stays at a guesthouse run by a woman named Elena (Najwa Nimri).
Thinking back over the events which brought her here, LucÃa soon discovers a network of magical connections which involve not only herself and her boyfriend, but also Elena, Elena’s daughter, and fellow boarder Carlos.
